Stamp Review Crew: SAB Free For All

Ready for some fun!  The Stamp Review Crew is changing it up for this bonus blog hop.  Instead of all using one stamp set we are using any of the 2017 Saleabration products.  And we have a TONS of ideas!

I love Stamping' Up kits for two reasons.  First the predesigned projects are so relaxing to make!  Sometimes I like (I should say NEED) to wind down with crafting late at night but don't want to have to think too hard.  I end up with some really cute things without having to go into go into thinking mode.   The other reason is the kit elements are perfectly coordinated so if I choose to make a different project I have a great head start.

Today I have an alternative project that is still super easy to make.
This is two cards adhered together so that there is a pocket in the middle.   It makes a perfect photo frame with a place for hidden journalling.   I tried to keep any additional supplies to a minimum.  A doily, die cut saying, a bit of ribbon and a scrap of cardstock.

Also it is double-sided!  You can have pictures on both sides and flip it around.
This side uses only an additional stamp set for the Hello Sunshine.  The rest is all included in the kit.

To make this cut the flap off the bottom of one of the cards.
Fold a second card on all score lines and adhere one on top of the other.
I think I will be making a more of these to send to family!

So glad you have joined The Crew for our Salabration Free For All!   Please click on the links below to see more fab ideas!

Stamp Review Crew: Playful Pals

Welcome to our latest Stamp Review Blog Hop!  Every first and third Monday of the month the SRC hosts a hop featuring ideas for one Stampin' Up stamp set.

This session we are using Playful Pals which is a fun builder style set for creating all kinds of animals.  I had a blast making these silly guys.
I got kind of primary school art-ish with these cards and pulled out collage materials.   The sheep's body is a cotton ball pulled into shape.  I also used a few products from the new Party Animal suite- the DSP, washi tape, ribbon and cute little party hat embellishments.
For the goofy bird I glued yellow and orange feathers to a cardstock circle and added the stamped features.   The "Happy Birthday" stamp used on both cards is from the Saleabration set Designer Tee.
Thanks for stopping by!  Please click on the links below to see more Playful Pals projects!
